There was a challenge in the manufacturing process regarding the deodorization of MEK (methyl ethyl ketone), rubber odors, and organic solvent odors (such as toluene and xylene). In some cases, there were concerns that secondary treatment might be necessary, but the primary treatment alone was sufficient to resolve the complaints from the neighbors.
